Home of Serbian Economy Opens at Expo 2020 Dubai (VIDEO)

The Serbian Business Hub Dubai at Expo 2020 Dubai was officially opened by Marko Cadez, the president of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia (CCIS), in the presence of the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, high UAE officials and representatives of Serbian and international companies, institutes and organizations.

At the opening of the Serbian Business Hub Dubai of the CCIS, Cadez that the business center was “the home of Serbian economy in Dubai” during the world expo and invited small and medium companies to take part at Expo 2020 Dubai.

– During the next six months, over a thousand companies from Serbia will be present here. The CCIS team is available 24 hours to business people to help them contract new jobs – Cadez said.

The president of the CCIS pointed out that there were not many countries that have a business hub which is that well equipped in terms of logistics and technology, which is free to use, as well as charter flights and the organization of presentations and business meetings with potential partners in Dubai.

– Expo Dubai is not meant for large companies only. Expo Dubai is for everyone. Come over here and we will help you make a deal – Cadez said.

Around a hundred of the first business people and representatives of institutes and organizations from Serbia have arrived to the world expo. They are looking at important meetings with companies from all over the world, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Slovenia, America, the Emirates, Cadez said.

Vucic praised the forming of the business hub and pointed out that the logistics support that the business people will get in order to establish new business and friendly relations was important, all to the end of boosting Serbian economy.

Khalifa Suhail Al Zaffin, the chairman of the Dubai South Free Zone, handed over the certificate for the operations of the Serbian Business Hub Dubai to the president of the CCIS. Within the Serbian multifunctional business space of 500 m2, the business people will have full technical, logistics and communications support during their participation in Expo 2020 Dubai. The space and the services of the business hub will be free for business people from Serbia, as well as for companies owned by Serbs who live and work in the UAE and the Gulf area.

During the expo, at the business seat of Serbian economy, company and sector presentations, investment forums, panels and B2B talks will be organized.
