Association of Serbian Banks Invites Citizens to Waive the Filed Lawsuits by the End of December at the Latest

The Association of Serbian Banks has invited the citizens who have sued them to waive the filed lawsuits by December 31, 2021, at the latest.

As said, they are making an announcement on the occasion of various pieces of information in the public about the banks’ conduct in implementing the amendment to the legal positions on the legality of contracting loan costs and insurance premiums at the National Corporation for Housing Loan Insurance, which the Civil Department of the Supreme Court of Cassation adopted at the session held on September 16, 2021.

– The Association of Serbian Banks notifies the public that the banks are inviting the citizens who sued them until September 17, 2021, on the basis of the abovementioned positions of the Supreme Court of Cassation to waive the filed lawsuits by December 31, 2021, at the latest, because, in those cases, the bank will waive the right to charge its costs from them and propose to the court, or agree with the already made proposition, to reach the decision, regarding the lawsuit costs, for each party to handle its own costs – the announcement says.
