Printer Italia srl starts cartridge production in Sremska Mitrovica

Italian Printer Italia srl, which produces and sells cartridges, is going to start production in Sremska Mitrovica in September. After only three months since VIP Fund made the first contact with the Italian investor, that company has made the decision to start production in Vojvodina under the name of Printer&Tec Ltd., and it has already rented a facility at the entrance to Sremska Mitrovica where both production and administration will be settled.

VIP Fund has helped the Italian investor choose the location and it will stay with the company during its positioning and later, when it starts the production. The representatives of VIP Fund have been told that the company will employ about 50 workers.

According to the data provided by VIP Fund, since the arrival of the first Italian company - sugar manufacturer S.F.I.R. - in Senta in 2002, 25 Italian companies have come to Vojvodina to date and invested total of EUR 637.55m and employed 5,945 workers. The largest investors are financial institutions Fondiaria, which has privatized DDOR, and Sanpaolo IMI, which has privatized Panonska Banka, but successful business results in Vojvodina have also been achieved by Pompea, Fulgar East, Calzedonia, and others.
