Alarming number of persons with malignant diseases in Kosovo !

The storm roused by death of about 35 soldiers of SFOR and KFOR, who died from radiation present in Kosovo and Metohia and BiH, does not let up in Italy. The word in south Province is that the cancer has been killing people for the last three years at such speed that it is close to become epidemic.

Number of people suffering from cancer of lungs, liver, bones and other organs increased 120 times in the first two months of 2005 in comparison with the same period in 2004. These are only registered cases, whereas big number of people in Province die not knowing from which they die. In 2004, all local health care institutions appealed to pregnant women to take ultrasound checkup. The results of those checkups was catastrophic. Every fourth woman had to discontinue pregnancy because the doctors doubt that the newborn would be alive.

Albanian doctors do not hide that the cause of increased number of people suffering from cancer is radiation, especially on the north-west of Province, mainly in regions of Prizren and Đakovica, where most uranium projectiles were dropped during the bombing. It is assumed that radiation is present on space of some 70 km, not far away from the border of Kosovo and Albania.
