Zlatibor sets new tourist records - Figures higher than before the pandemic

According to the statistics of the Zlatibor Tourism Organization, during this summer season, in July and August, the number of overnight stays on the mountain was up to 50% higher compared to the same period in 2020 and 17% higher compared to the numbers in July and August 2019.

The fact that tourism in Zlatibor successfully rebounded, despite the current crisis, is also proven by the confirmed number of overnight stays for the first eight months of the current year, which is 41% higher when compared to that of 2020.

It is important to point out that the number of nights spent in the first eight months of 2021 is four percent higher than the number of nights spent during the same time period in 2019. This is a particularly encouraging fact if we take into account that 2019 was a record year in terms of tourist traffic and that it was a period during which tourism was not burdened by the COVID pandemic.
