Telecom Egypt used "Lane moje" song without permit

- Without any permit or consent from author Zeljko Joksimovic, Egyptian Telecom has used the global popularity of 'Lane moje' song in an ad that promotes its services, which is something that numerous visitors of YouTube from all around the world have been able to see and hear - said the people in Law firm Draganic, which is the authorized legal representative of Mr. Zeljko Joksimovic.
Having that in mind, Law firm Draganic, as Joksimovic's legal representative, has sent a written Proposal to the authorized managers of Telecom Egypt with the aim of reaching mutual agreement to resolve this disputable situation.
Zeljko Joksimovic's song "Lane moje" won the second place at the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest in Istanbul in Turkey. After that success, more than 20 versions of this song have appeared in numerous languages.
"We expect the managers of Egyptian Telecom and its founder - the Government of Egypt, to grasp the seriousness of our Proposal and that no other possible legal actions will be necessary", it is written in the statement.
