Katici Challenge Race on September 11 on Mucanj

The Katici Challenge Race, which will be held on September 11 in Katici near Ivanjica is one of the three obstacle races within the challenge league which the Association for Recreation and Fitness of Serbia (SRFS) has organized with the desire to develop running as a new concept. In the beautiful environment of the Ivanjica District, on the slopes of the Mucanj mountain, the participants will test their running fitness at an altitude of 1,000 meters.

The Katici Challenge Race 2021 of 6 km and 12 km begin at 11 AM, whereas the children’s race begins at 10 AM.

The starter kits will be handed out on September 10 at Hotel Katici. A starter kit consists of: a bag, a T-shirt, a starting number, a chip, a medal, refreshments to be used during the race, a voucher for food and drinks after the race, as well as gifts by the partners of the race and the SRFS sponsors. In addition to the starter kits, all the participants are also getting electronic certificates, a video of their passing the finishing line and the following of the participants and the results in real time.

The fastest racers in the male and female categories in both races stand to win valuable awards, and the partners of the race and SRFS have also prepared awards for the first three places in children’s races in all categories, SRFS announced.

The organizers of the race are SRFS and the Association for Recreation and Fitness of Belgrade, the national and city associations supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sport and the Secretariat for Sport and Youth of the City of Belgrade, which gather more than 400 clubs and associations dedicated to various forms of recreation.
