The president of the Provincial Government, Igor Mirovic, has visited the reconstructed road from Jamena to Racinovci in the municipality of Sid, which connects Serbia and Croatia. He pointed out that he expected the two states to build a new border checkpoint in 2021 or in early 2022.

– This road and the future border checkpoint will be of great importance for people in this part of Srem, but also in places along the border in Croatia. It will unload the Batrovci checkpoint, revive Jamena and enable the survival of that settlement in the future – Mirovic stated, as announced on the website of the Government of Vojvodina.

The president of the Provincial Government also visited the construction site where six kilometers of streets are being rebuilt in the Kukujevci settlement, an investment worth RSD 200 million.
