Construction of Tunnel Beneath Kadinjaca to Start in Six Months – Investment Worth EUR 80 Million

The construction of the tunnel beneath Kadinjaca will begin in the next six-seven months, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic announced today.

During his visit to Bajina Basta, he said that the construction of the tunnel would be completed before the end of 2023.

According to him, EUR 80 million will be invested in the construction of the tunnel beneath Kadinjaca and the reconstruction and construction of roads in the Bajina Basta area.

As Vucic announced, a road between Kosjeric and Varda (4.5 km) and a road from Mitrovac to Mecavnik (15 km) are also to be built.

– Huge investments in infrastructure in this area will help increase the tourism revenues. For Bajina Basta, this means five times as much money – Vucic said.
