Test Your Team by Running a Virtual Company – Serbia Business Cup 2021

Modeled after the traditional Valor Kup in the banking sector, this time, with the help of the business simulation Coin&Fund, developed by the consulting company Casa Forte and meant for use in business, Valor Group and Casa Forte are launching the Serbia Business Cup, meant for the economy.

The Serbia Business Cup is an educational and competitive event where you will be able to learn about theoretical knowledge and practical experiences and, together with the knowledge and experience you already have, test the level of your team’s achievements by running a virtual company in the Coin&Fund simulation.

Coin&Fund is designed and implemented as an educational tool with the help of which users at all levels of knowledge have the opportunity to see, through a simulation, how their decisions as managers of virtual companies influence the operations of the entire company through the prism of basic financial reports, that is, the selected indicators of the success of the business operations.

The business simulation Coin&Fund is part of the curriculum of the Singidunum University, is used in numerous companies on projects supported by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the Development Agency of Serbia (DAS) and is traditionally used in contests organized by Casa Forte on the occasion of the Global Money Week, to the end of raising awareness among the young of financial literacy, money and finance management and development of entrepreneurial skills.

With the help of practical experiences provided by representatives of large companies, banks, chambers of commerce, directors of public enterprises, through realistic simulations and tasks, the players, together with their mentors, help the teams, consisting of students, to overcome the obstacles in the operations of fictional companies and make decisions and provide solutions.

The lecturers will transfer their experiences and provide advice for the solving of dilemmas, doubts, questions and worries that are part of everyday management of a company and business processes.

The contest will be preceded by training courses, in which the following topics will be examined in more detail:

1) the connection between the business and financial models
2) the manner of making decisions: conscious or subconscious?
3) guidelines for leading sales teams, efficient work with clients, products/services, employees
4) practical experiences in the implementation of the best business models in Serbia and the region
5) running the operations in a virtual B2B company through the online simulation Coin&Fund-demo before the contest

The cup is organized similar to sports tournaments: 4 groups of 10 companies each compete for taking part in the cup final and the title of the Serbian Business Cup Champion.

Group A: Belgrade and its area, held in Belgrade on September 24-25, 2021

Group B: Nis and its area, held in Nis on October 8-9, 2021

Group C: Vojvodina, held in Novi Sad on October 22-23, 2021

Group D: Kragujevac, Cacak, Uzice, Pozega, held in Kragujevac on November 5-6, 2021

The great final of the Serbia Business Cup is held on November 19, 2021, in Belgrade.
