Belgrade Boat Carnival in Late August

The Tourism Organization of Belgrade has announced that one of the favorite events for the citizens of Belgrade, according to the press release, the Belgrade Boat Carnival, would be held for the 16th time on August 28.

On the Sava Promenade, that is, the part of the Sava river from the Tram Bridge to the Gazela Bridge, the visitors will be presented with a rich program on both water and land this year as well.

The central part of the event, a procession of decorated boats, will begin in the afternoon and move upstream from the Branko’s Bridge to the end of the Sava Promenade. All the boats take part in the selection of the best decorated boat, and the winners stand to get valuable prizes.
