Miraculous world of Lago di Spa
Spa rituals from Hawaii, Israel, Japan, Morocco or Sweden, traditional Indian and Thai massages or maybe a hot bath in green tea or flowers. If all this does not sound good enough for you to get rid of stress and improve your psycho-physical health, maybe you will find bathing in donkey's milk, wine or beer, which are unique treatments in the Balkans, sufficiently inventive.
Cosmetics from Spain, France and America, tepidaria of raw volcano rocks, infrared sauna, steam bath and salty cave are only part of the offer of recently opened spa center Lago di Spa in Zemun.
In the interview for eKapija, Ana Djukic, the spa center manager, talks about uniqueness of this magnificent building in Zemun's greenery and the first reactions of users.
- The Lago di Spa project was launched in July 2009, and the center received the first clients in May 2010. Although we postponed the commencement of the marketing campaign for September, we are satisfied with the number of people who have already used our services. The expressions of satisfaction on the faces of our clients after the treatment represent the greatest satisfaction because they speak of the quality of our services.
Lago di Spa occupies the surface of 600 square meters and comprises 15 different premises-units. The location is excellent since it is in the vicinity of the motorway, but it is still protected from noise and crowd by the woods of Bezanijska Kosa. The spa center also has a big parking lot, which is a benefit for its clients since they do not have to "waste time" searching for a parking place.
Lago di Spa is formed by 16 young professionals who hold world-acknowledged certificates.
(Salty cave)
In addition to the staff from the countries whose rituals and treatments are offered in the spa center, one of curiosities is salty cave. For 20 or 40 minutes you stay in the cave, you will feel like you are in the nature, far away from the city crowds.
- Salty cave has an authentic look. There are over 500 kg of salt from the Dead Sea and a salt mine in it, and it also has a special sprinkler that sprinkles small particles of salt at certain time intervals. One forty-minute treatment in the salty cave for adults is a substitute for four days spent at the seaside. It is also suitable for kids who can stay in the cave for maximum 20 minutes - says eKapija's interlocutor.
The stay in the salty cave is exceptionally good for general psycho-physical condition of the organism, as well as for respiratory organs, allergies, sinuses, asthma, inflammation and cold, chronic infections, stress, and much more.
Tepidaria are in Sauna World. These ergonomic hot beds are authentic because they are not made with tiles that are heated. Instead, they are made of raw volcano rocks, which are famous for their geomagnetic characteristics and regenerative effect on the whole organism.
- What draws the attention is the broad range of massages we offer, some of which appear on this territory for the first time. In addition to classical massages such as relax and sport massages, we also offer Hawaiian massage, aromatherapy, lymph drainage, massage with warm volcano rocks and semi-precious stones, royal massage, traditional Thai massage performed by experts from Thailand and Indian Ayurveda performed by a doctor and a therapist from India where Ayurveda is acknowledged as official medicine.
They are proud of Ayurveda massages, which are not intended only for relaxation, but also represent a form of treatment through massage. The results of that massage can not be compared to any other. It is performed by a doctor and a therapist who came to Lago di Spa from India - doctor Abey and therapist Jomol. The treatment is preceded by consultations with the client, based on which the doctor determines what type of person the client is, what type of massage is the best for him or her, and what oil to use. All preparations for this treatment come from India - over 20 types of oil and 15 plants that are used in making of these oils.
Even before the Christ, primarily thanks to Egyptian queen Cleopatra, bathing in milk was knows as beneficial for the organism. But people in this spa center took one step further and offered bathing in donkey's milk! That milk, rich with vitamins A, C, D and E, calcium and phosphorus, is, actually, the most similar to mother's milk. It can be said that it is a natural "skin lifter". Donkey's milk comes to Lago di Spa directly from Zasavica, the village in Serbia that is famous for breeding large number of these animals.
Wine bath is also an attractive treatment, especially because wine comes from Tasmania. It is rich with vitamins A, E and C, and it improves circulation and production of collagen.
Lago di Spa also offers numerous face and body treatments. All cosmetic treatments are done with professional Ericson cosmetics from France and Skeyndor cosmetics from Spain. Based on consultations, expert staff chose the best treatment for every client and recommends the best home care. Here you can also buy preparations made by aforementioned cosmetic companies, as well as Israeli Aroma Dead Sea cosmetics whose exclusive importer is Lago di Spa. There is also a cutting-edge mesotherapy machine, which does not use needles, but still gives exceptional results when it comes to reduction of volume, elimination of cellulite, and face and body skin care.
The spa center also comprises beauty parlor Atelje Simić & Wella System Profesional, which draws the attention of the public for a long time because of its collaboration with fashion magazines and shows.
