Pozarevac Soon to Get Industrial Zone – Space for Attracting Foreign Investments to be Prepared on 78 Hectares

The City of Pozarevac should soon get a new industrial zone which is to spread on 78 hectares.

The city administration opened the tendering procedure for the preparation of the Detailed Regulation Plan, and, according to the project task, the new DRP is being prepared with the aim of activating spatial capacities for new content, to define the rules of spatial development and construction.

– The new business features primarily pertain to economic activities such as industry, craft manufacturing, storage and processing of various types of goods and other services which, due to their nature, cannot be located within other populated areas – the documentation says.

The industrial zone is located within the construction area of Pozarevac, near the state road 33, which borders the area from the south side, with which it is connected through Djure Djakovica Street, which is one of the most important road accesses to the city.

It is added that it is preferrable for the future DRP to group certain activities which are technically and technologically connected or which have “a similar degree of negative environmental impact”. At the same time, it is pointed out that a modern conception of business zones, in addition to primarily production features, also entails the existence of complementary features (trade facilities, various services etc.).

The conclusion of the project task says that the new industrial zone is formed within the Strategy of Stimulation and Development of Foreign Investments Toward an Increase of Exporting, Industrial and Agri-Industrial Capacities.

The price of the preparation of the DRP for the Industrial Zone Pozarevac is RSD 5,200,000, and the application deadline is August 3.
