Alta Pay Group to Acquire 100% of Capital of Alta Banka

Alta Pay Group has been offering financial services to its users in the Serbian market for over 10 years and now intends to buy all the shares of Alta Banka.

– In the transaction recently carried out through the market of the Belgrade Stock Exchange, Alta Pay Group bought the shares of Alta Banka and significantly increased its share in the capital of Alta Banka from 28.51% to 63.92% – Tatjana Bundalo, the director of Alta Pay Group, says for eKapija and adds that, in the upcoming period, the decision of the regulators on the acquisition of the shares is expected.

– The Notice of the intent to take over the bank’s shares has been announced publicly and the procedure of authorizing the publication of the share takeover bid is in progress and will be finalized with the decision made by the regulator, the Securities Commission of the Republic of Serbia – Bundalo said for eKapija.

Following the purchase of the shares, the new business entity in the banking market will direct its operations to the development of digital technologies so as to provide simple and safe solutions to its clients.

– In the upcoming period, Alta Pay Group and Alta Banka will remain dedicated to the development of retail and corporate products, with a special focus on the process of digital development and implementation of simple solutions for our clients, taking care of the data security.
