The City of Belgrade is planning to build a center for the disposal of recycling of bulky waste in Dobanovci, whereby the disposal of waste materials at the Vinca landfill is to stop.

The Secretariat for Environmental Protection of the City Administration of Belgrade has opened the tender for the preparation of the technical documentation of the center for waste collection in Dobanovci.

According to the tendering documentation, the current state is characterized by the fact that the waste from 11 city municipalities of Belgrade is taken to the Vinca landfill. In 2020 alone, in the territory of the city, a total of 90,000 m3 of bulky waste was collected, and, under the agreement of the strategic partnership with the Beo Cista Energija company, the city is obliged to find a new solution for the issue of disposal of unallowed types of waste.

The price of the preparation of the technical documentation has not been announced, because the tender is opened in the form of an open invitation.
