The director of the Free Zone of Svilajnac, Tijana Jovanovic, and the owner of the company A 2000 from the German city of Frisenheim, Thomas Miller, signed a joint report on the start of production.
The new plant will produce modern electronic components and specific electrical devices for different user needs. The new company also means new jobs, and the students of the Svilajnac High School, majoring in electrical engineering and electronics, will get the first chance to get a job immediately upon finishing school.
- Among 60 possible cities in Serbia, we have chosen Svilajnac to invest in. They have met our strict criteria and we will start hiring workers in July. The fact that Svilajnac educates staff for the needs of the economy is important to us and we are very satisfied with the orderliness, infrastructural equipment, commitment of the municipal leadership and the possibility of doing business in the "Free Zone" regime - said Thomas Mueller, owner of A2000.
