Australian online portal declares Belgrade the best city for partying

On the Australian Traveler portal`s newest list of the best cities for partying, Belgrade is ranked Number 1.

- The bad reputation in the world press has kept Serbia `off the map` for years, but tourists have now begun to discover a fact that locals have known for a long time - Belgrade is a great destination for parties - the Traveler states.

According to the article, our capital city offers excellent nightlife due to the large number of quality restaurants and bars. Special emphasis is placed on Skadarlija and rafts on the riverbanks of Sava and Danube.

Belgrade managed to leave behind many famous and more frequented cities. Montreal came in second, due to local beer production, "bohemian" atmosphere and jazz clubs.Next on the list is Buenos Aires, a magical combination of European and South American culture. Of course, the love for dances like salsa or tango is one of the reasons why the capital of Argentina is in third place.Next on the list is the ideal destination for wealthy travelers - Dubai. Namely, celebrities often organize parties in this city of extravagance and luxury.

Favorite Serbian summer destination is in fifth place - Greece, more precisely the city of Thessaloniki.

- Thessaloniki boasts a great nightlife even in the wintertime, when the entire Greece is `in winter sleep`. The music in the clubs is diverse, everything is being played, from Greek pop, house music to bouzouki - the article states.La Paz, Cape Town, Baku, Auckland and Tel Aviv won the remaining five places.
