Second Bidding Round in Zrenjanin – State Agricultural Land of 7,366 ha Offered for Lease

The Agricultural Land Administration has announced the second round of the public bidding for the lease of the state-owned agricultural land in the area of the city of Zrenjanin.

The total area offered for lease amounts to 7,366.4686 ha. The lease period is 15 years for 1,121 units of public bidding, whereas 38 units are to be leased for one year.

Grazing land, amounting to 3,440 ha, dominates the offer, most of which is comprised of 3rd class grazing land – 2,187 ha. The initial price for this class of grazing land in the second round is EUR 16.96 per hectare. The offer also features nearly 2,000 ha of farming land and 980 ha of meadows. The initial price for 3rd class farming land is EUR 84.77 per hectare.

Beginning from this year, the bids are filed electronically, through the Digitalno Javno Nadmetanje app.

All interested natural and legal persons are eligible, and the only condition is having a registered agricultural property in an active status for at least three years.

Bids may be sent by June 16, 2021, and the opening of the bids and the ranking are scheduled for June 26, 2021.
