The head of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Manuela Naessl, recently stated, following a meeting with the general manager of Elektroprivreda RS (ERS), Luka Petrovic, that the EBRD is interested in supporting the construction of the Solar Power Plant (SPP) Trebinje 1.

– We discussed several projects of Elektroprivreda RS from renewable sources, with an emphasis on solar power. We would be happy to provide our support and financial funds in the development of that investment – said Naessl and added that another topic of the meeting with the management of the Mixed Holding of ERS was the investment in the transfer system.

– It is very important to enable the network to take the renewable energy – Naessl said, as announced on the ERS website.

Let us remind that this solar power plant of 72.92 MW is to be built in the Trebinje area in East Herzegovina. The estimated value of the project is around 100.8 million convertible marks.
