Zastava Tervo – New All-terrain Vehicle for Serbian Armed Forces Passes All Tests, Export Planned

The Kragujevac-based company Zastava Tervo has produced a light all-terrain vehicle for the purposes of the Serbian Armed Forces, which has passed all the tests, and with slight alterations, it can also be used for commercial purposes.

Stefan Juric, the technical director of Zastava Tervo, emphasizes that the advantages of the vehicle are its high mobility, an automatic gearshift, and plenty of cabin space, which provides room for the crew’s personal arms and equipment.

This type of an all-terrain vehicle for military and police forces is not produced anywhere else in the world. The new all-terrain vehicle should replace an entire fleet of old military vehicles at the Serbian Armed Forces, and export is planned as well.

– Primarily to the markets of North Africa and the Middle East, where there are plenty of purchasers interested in this type of a vehicle. In that sense, some technical adjustments would be made, so that the vehicles can be used in desert conditions – says Ilija Ljujic, the acting director of Zastava Tervo.

With slight alterations, this vehicle can also be used by public companies.
