SU-PORT first in Serbia to get license for ground services
SU-PORT, a handling agent for airplanes, passengers, luggage, goods and mail, is the first company in Serbia to obtain the new license for ground handling services from the Civil Aviation Directorate of the Republic of Serbia.
- The company whose founder is Jat Airways has officially created an opportunity for itself to enter the markets of the European Union, it has acquired the status of an equal competitor at international airports, and it has increased its total value - it is written in the company's statement.
The new license will also make further development of SU-PORT easier in terms of provision of services and expansion of capacities, but it will also save Jat Airways significant amount of money.
The Civil Aviation Directorate has issued the license to that company after its expert team had been working for several months on bringing the security, safety, quality and environment protection systems in accord with the European regulations and standards for ground handling services.
The license is synchronized with the agreement on establishment of the European Common Aviation Area, which has already been signed by the Republic of Serbia, as well as with the Regulations on access to the market of ground handling services at airports in the European Union.
