Turkish Company Agrogora Organic Launching Organic Production in Mojkovac – Core Activity to be Fruit Processing through Modern Lyophilization Process

Agrogora Organic will be a tenant at the Babica Polje business zone in Mojkovac, the Municipality of Mojkovac announced.

According to the municipality’s Facebook page, the company is headquartered in Mojkovac and the founder and CEO is Ahmet Dasman, an investor from Turkey.

– The aim of the company Agrogora Organic is to launch innovative agri-business in Montenegro in order to utilize the natural reserves of forest fruit and to initiate organic fruit production in the country. The planned lyophilization process – dehydration technology can be implemented in various types of food, such as fruit, vegetables, dairy products, and it is already in line with the well-developed demand in the Western European market – the municipality announced.

According to the signed agreement, the company has leased parcels of 11,713 m2 for a period of 10 years, with the possibility of extension by another 10 years.

– The investment entails 25 permanent jobs and 120 to 150 seasonal jobs during the period of the harvesting of fresh fruit. The main production activities will pertain to the processing of berries and other fruit, and the agreement says that the facility is to start producing within 12 months of the date of the signing of the agreement – it is explained.

The municipality also points out that Ahmet Dasman was the co-founder and executive director of the first facility that processed fruit and vegetables this way in Izmir, Turkey.

Let us remind that the tender for the lease of land within the Babica Polje business zone was opened by the Municipality of Mojkovac in early March. As announced on the municipality’s website, only one bid was sent, that by Agrogora Organic, which was rated as timely and valid.
