End-April Application Deadline for Half of May State Minimum Wage

Applications for the third package of state aid, which entails the payment of half a minimum wage for three months are in progress, and the deadline for the application for the May payment is the end of April 2021.

According to the Tax Administration, companies need to file the PPP-PD form for the accounting period of March 2021 by April 30, 2021, and to make a special statement on the Tax Administration portal in the period between April 1-30.

The PPP-PD form and the statement are to be filed within said deadline, whereby the submission does not have to be simultaneous.

Companies which do not fill out the special statement at the Tax Administration within the set deadline will not have the right to a direct payment, regardless of whether they’ve filed the PPP-PD form for the accounting period of March 2021.

– We emphasize that business entities which are not obliged to file the PPP-PD form, that is, those which don’t have employees and are not enterprises or agricultural enterprises, and which have opted for the payment of personal income, receive direct payments without making a statement on the acceptance of direct payments within the deadlines and in the manner proscribed by the Program – says the announcement by the Tax Administration.
