Serbia Expects Increased Interest from Belgian Investors

Serbia is interested in investments by Belgian companies and expects a considerable increase in the interest of Belgian investors in our country, said Serbian Foreign Affairs Minister Nikola Selakovic in his conversation with Belgian Ambassador to Serbia Koenraad Adam, the Government of Serbia announced.

It was also said at the meeting that the bilateral relations between the two countries were good and that there was room for their further improvement.

The minister announced that he would visit Brussels in an official capacity not long after and repeated that EU membership remained Serbia’s strategic goal and one of its most important foreign policy objectives.

He pointed out that Serbia had adopted a new methodology of accession negotiations with the EU, hoping to accelerate the process that way.
