Penpharm to Expand its Business in Zrenjanin – Construction of Production Facilities and Workers’ Camp Planned

The City of Zrenjanin has opened the public call for the presentation of an urban project for the construction of production facilities of the company Penpharm with a temporary camp for workers in the business zone Jugoistok I (Southeast I).

The urban project covers land of 93 a 15 m2 and plans the construction of two storage spaces, next to the existing management building.

In addition to storage facilities, a temporary camp for the accommodation of the workers is planned in another part of the building parcel. China Energy Engineering Group Tianjin Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd, Belgrade branch, which finances the works, also executes the construction works and their workers will stay at said camp.

According to the cadaster-topography plan, the parcel features six illegal facilities, which are to be torn down as per the adopted decision. After the removal, the planned facilities are to be raised in place of these illegal facilities.

The temporary workers’ camp with a capacity of 260 beds will be equipped with the necessary waterworks, sewer, rainwater sewer, a hydrant network and power installations, which are to be disassembled after the set period.

These facilities are of temporary character and a temporary permit is issued for them. After the period expires, the facilities are removed and the terrain is brought back to its previous state.

The urban project was prepared by the architectural studio Nuova, and the presentation is available until January 12, 2021.
