Seventh Museums Night on May 15
To mark the beginning of the seventh Museums Night a fanfare will be played at 6 PM on May 15 in front of the Army Museum in Belgrade. The walk through unique exhibitions from the fields of modern art, history, fashion, film, architecture will last until 2 o'clock in the morning.
Especially for this night, the Army Museum will exhibit the Enigma decoding machine, the saber of the man who bombed Belgrade in 1941, as well as Dragoljub Draža Mihajlović's personal items that have never been on display before. "How to Become a Legend" is the Olympic Museum's premiere exhibition, while queen Marija Karađorđević's dairy, costumes, jewelry and works of art will be put on display in the Court complex for the first time ever. Selected film material from the production of Army Film Center "Zastava Film" will be shown in Dom Vojske, the Museum of Science and Technology's new permanent exhibition will have its premiere, while the Ethnographic Museum will put the favorite dolls of the 19th century girls on display. The Museums Night will also open the doors of Đorđe Weifert's villa and the first discotheque in the Balkans. The visitors will also be able to see the Blue Train, get familiar with the history and evolution of tattooing, as well as to put hair in dreadlocks. The artistic-production group of the Museums Night has also prepared a program for the youngest visitors, while various music bands and DJs will be performing in the gardens of museums and galleries.
Tickets
Tickets can be bought in Bilet Servis (Ticket Service) at the price of RSD 300. On the day of the event, the purchase will be possible at the very locations.
