Of the 20 Italian provinces, only Calabria remains on the orange list, whereas all the others are on the red list. Being quarantined upon arriving to Slovenia from these countries can be avoided by submitting a negative test.
There are also 17 categories of exceptions, including migrant workers who have to cross the border daily, international transporters, people in transit or members of foreign delegations. Also among these exceptions are urgent business or family reasons, as well as medical interventions or examinations.
Owners of real estate or residential vessels, as well as the tenants and users of real estate, residential vessels or parcels in camps in Slovenia are also allowed to cross the border. Some exceptions pertain to close family members who travel together. The list has been expanded from 116 to 147 countries, some of which include only certain administrative units.
