Red Alert For Exhibition Industry – Belgrade Fair Proposes Measures For Restarting Business

An all-night, demonstrative event called “Red Alert for Exhibition Industry” was staged last Thursday at Belgrade Fair when the largest and renowned Hall 1 was lit up in red light inside and outside.
The Belgrade Fair said they expected that the competent authorities would view this symbolic visual message in a positive light and would give the company the go-ahead to resume operations soon.
The company pointed out that the epidemiological measures for sport matches, concerts and other mass events could not be applied to fairs and exhibitions.
The Belgrade Fair suggested that the rules administered for commercial and trade activities be applied to fair events as well.
– Thereby, the exhibition industry could restart its operations in a controlled environment following the prescribed safety measures and recommendations regarding coronavirus and consequently renew a whole range of advertising and commercial activities directly or indirectly connected to exhibition sector, Belgrade Fair statement reads.
