Payment of last installment of 60% minimum wage to take place on Tuesday – Newly-established companies to be paid on September 21

The Minister of Finance Sinisa Mali announced that the payment of the final installment of the 60% minimum wage of RSD 18,000 would take place tomorrow (Tuesday) while the the payment of the 120% minimum wage for new companies would take place on September 21, that is, the two payments of 60% minimum wage would be combined.

– We set aside RSD 18.4 billion for this minimum wage transaction. According to official numbers 1,018,863 workers employed in 234,634 small and medium-sized enterprises will receive the payment of 60% minimum wage which is RSD 18,000 per employee, Mali said.

Per Ministry of Finance's statement this is the fifth minimum wage payment made by the Government of Serbia to special-purpose accounts of the enterprises that applied for financial help.

The Minister specified that the Government set aside more than RSD 130 billion of budget reserves for the total of five minimum wages. He said that it's a great financial help provided to said enterprises.
