Construction of Pambukovica dam to begin in Spring 2021

If everything goes according to plan, the construction of the multipurpose dam with accumulation Pambukovica should start in Spring of the next year, the Director at Public Water Utility Company Srbijavode, Goran Puzovic said in Ub.

At the meeting with the Mayor of Ub Darko Glisic and his associates, also attended by the the Mayor of Valjevo, Lazar Gojkovic, Puzovic said he believed that with their joint effort thy will manage to carry out all the legal procedures and preparatory works for project realization.

The construction work will be carried out in stages. The first stage, worth EUR 13 million, includes the construction of the dam body which will require the expropriation of 8 ha of land. The total value of the project of the Pambukovica dam with accumulation and irrigation system is EUR 35 million.
