Products of Two Serbian Dairies to Become Available in Chinese Market

Two Serbian dairies have been put on the list of those which can export their products to the Chinese market, the Ministry of Agriculture told Tanjug.

– We expect other dairies that have filed requests to the Chinese side to also get authorization for the export to that market. This decision is the result of intensive cooperation and excellent relations between the states of Serbia and China and the competent services, which are in constant coordination and communication – the competent ministry says.

The dairies in question are Mlekara UB and Mlekoprodukt from Zrenjanin.

Serbian Agriculture Minister Branislav Nedimovic stated earlier that it was the first time in history that milk and dairy can be exported to China.

– We have been able to export anywhere, but never to the Chinese market, which is the biggest consumer market in the world – Nedimovic said on RTS.
