Local Investor to Build Luxury Hotel in Golubac, Marinas to be Developed as Well – Danube Beach to be Reconstructed by End-July

The Golubac beach is currently being developed, and the plan of development of this municipality also includes the reconstruction of Donja Marina (Lower Marina) and the construction of a hotel. As the president of the municipality, Nebojsa Mijovic, told eKapija, the preparation of the detailed regulation plan of Donja Marina is in progress.

– The plan is to build a high-category hotel with the accompanying features, and the investor is local. We expect the works to start by the end of the year – Mijovic said.

He added that the plan was also to develop the current Gornja Marina (Upper Marina) and to continue building the pedestrian-cycling lane from Golubac to the Golubac Fortress. According to the announcements, Golubac will get a marina in this location, with a management building and around a hundred docks for various vessels and yachts.

– The project documentation has been prepared and the building permit has been obtained. The state plan entails the completion by 2024 – Mijovic says.

He also announces new investments in this municipality, such as the development of the square, the pedestrian zone, the reconstruction of the library with a gallery, and the completion of the development of the beach by the end of July.

The construction of the beach is financed by the Municipality of Golubac, and the works, which are carried out by the Belgrade-based company Ivan Milutinovic, are worth RSD 42 million.
