Serbia 30th on National Consulting Index

Serbia is ranked 30th on the list of 50 countries-members of the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes, as announced by the Association of Management Consultants of Serbia (UPKS). The global report of the National Consulting Index aims to identify the situation in the management consulting sector in individual states and to measure the economic values of the national management consulting market.

– Based on fully relevant data, this report clearly shows in which areas there's the most room for us to progress as a society and as a particular profession – said the president of the Management Board of UPKS, Aleksandra Hristov.

The National Consulting Index for Serbia is 0.021, and the rating is based on five factors: cultural individualism index, economic freedom index, e-government development, global creativity index and corruption perception index.

On a scale of zero to 100 for the cultural individualism index, Serbia's rating is 25, whereas, for the economic freedom index, Serbia takes the 35th place on the European list of the Heritage Foundation and the Wall Street Journal.

On the list of the United Nations concerning the development of e-government, Serbia is 49th, whereas, on a scale of zero to one, the global creativity index, on whose list Serbia is 49th with 0.485 points, rates countries for creativity, technology, talent and tolerance.

The corruption perception index, published by Transparency International, is another factor for the rating of the state of the consulting management sector, where Serbia takes the 87th spot, with a rating of 39 on a scale of 100.

According to the data of the largest global consulting platform, Consultancy.org, the global value of the business consulting industry for 2018 was USD 130 billion.
