RETROSPECTIVE 2009 - investments in category of AUTOMOBILE SHOWROOMS that drew biggest interest of eKapija's users in 2009

EKapija's investment team has recently done the analysis and formed the rank list of investments and investment ideas that drew the greatest attention of eKapija's users in 2009. The results are very interesting, with plenty of surprises, so that we've decided to share this information with you.

The projects are divided into 12 categories. This time we are presenting the top 10 in the category of AUTOMOBILE SHOWROOMS.

The rank list looks as if all distributors and dealers agreed to realize at least one investment in 2009. Of course, not all brands are present, but the majority of them are on the list.

Almost all stories about the investments in this category had approximately the same number of readers. However, the first-ranked is automobile showroom Grand Motors in Niš. Namely, Grand Motors, the general importer of Ford vehicles, bought the building parcel next to Niš - Niška spa route and announced commencement of construction of modern showroom for the automobiles of make Ford in September 2009.

The second place belongs to Automobile showroom MikoM in Novi Sad. The new showroom is situated in an exceptionally attractive location, on the Temerin road, and it meets all standards of makes Mercedes-Benz, Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge. The building comprises the automobile showroom, service workshop and storage space for spare parts, as well as office space. The showroom occupies total of 1,850 square meters, while the surface of the parking lot around the facility is 4,000 square meters.

The first modular Volkswagen's facility in Novi Sad and Serbia is the third on this list. Namely, new automobile showroom Porsche Novi Sad, built according to the latest concept, is unique in this part of Europe. Its look and functionality are much different from all existing facilities and it is the first such facility in whole East Europe. The showroom is situated next to Subotica-Belgrade highway, at the very entrance to Novi Sad, and occupies the surface of 17,731 square meters. The building where the team of 40 is working has the surface of 3,527 square meters.

The next on the list are Toyota Novi Sad, the new showroom opened by GO.TA Car, and Iveco showroom in Dobanovci, which is the investment of company Slodes. Bošnjak's Hyundai Showroom in Novi Sad is the sixth, while Lady F's Nissan Service Center in Zemun is the seventh.

The eighth-ranked is 4m EUR worth of investment of company Ristić from Ivanjica, which opened the showroom and service center for Mercedes and Chrysler automobiles in Čačak. The ninth is Suzuki Showroom in New Belgrade (Euro Summar), while the last on this list is Tigar's Stop&Drive in Pirot.
