Feka Automotive factory in Cuprija to start working soon – First workers to get hired in July

The Feka Automotive factory in Cuprija for production of car components for the automotive industry will soon be open for business, said the Operations Manager at the Turkish company, Refik Muharrem.

He said in an interview on Pomoravlje TV that the opening of the factory was delayed due to the coronavirus situation.

The Mayor of Cuprija, Ninoslav Eric also visited the factory.

– We were supposed to open the factory back in March, however , the most important thing is that the facility is finished and that the hiring process will begin next month. The residents of Cuprija will of course work here and I am very pleased that the first green investment is to be realized at the place where the industrialization of Cuprija initially began, Eric said.

Muharrem reminded that Feka Automotive was the company who made car component for big brands such as Volkswagen, Renault and Porsche.

– Our factory in Turkey employs 1000 workers and our goal is to reach that level in Serbia as well. We were provided with good conditions for investing here and I am positive that with the help of our Serbian team we will reach that goal, he said.
