From July 1, Egypt will enable regular international flights and entry of foreign tourists to some of the coastal areas least affected by coronavirus, the government announced.

In March, airports in Egypt were closed as part of the measures to suppress the spreading of the disease.

The total number of the infected in Egypt is 38,284, and 1,342 deaths have been recorded.

At the beginning of the week, there were 53,000 cases in North Africa, with Egypt, Algeria and Morocco being the most affected countries in the region.
