Science-Technology Park Cacak to Officially Open on Tuesday

At one of the facilities of the former Yugoslav giant Cer, a factory destroyed during the NATO bombing campaign 21 years ago, a new space equipped for the Science-Technology Park Cacak will officially open this Tuesday.

The acting director of the Science-Technology Park Cacak, Mirko Pesic, says that the first companies have already started moving in and that he expects there to be around 200 employees, engineers and workers of various profiles.

– Our aim is to link production activities with modern information technologies, marketing and everything that is part of the modern market and business. Each young company will be given their own space, and it is expected that there will be 15 to 20 of them in the production section and around 200 employees – Pesic says for Tanjug.

At the moment, seven companies which have met the requirements of the public invitation are moving into the STP Cacak.

The owner of Plazmateh, a company which develops, designs and makes special machines for automatic production, Branimir Plazinic, whose company is already operating successfully, says that they will first launch a unique project in the country in the new space – a rotating parking system.
