Austrian Company Schiebel Starts Building Factory in Jagodina

The foundation stone for a factory of the Austrian company Schiebel, which produces electrical and mechanical equipment and supplies refineries and nuclear power plants, has been laid down in the industrial zone in Jagodina, the city administration announced.

The factory will employ 25 workers in the first phase, 50 in the second one and 100 in the third phase.

Schiebel is fully automated. The company exports to 30 countries.

This Austrian company, which produces hydraulic engines and pumps, was supposed to start building its factory in the industrial zone in Jagodina in March 2020, but the project was postponed due to the state of emergency.
