Cooperation between Lufthansa, Swiss International Air Lines and Austrian Airlines in Serbian market
Company Lufthansa has founded a joint sales organizations with companies Swiss International Air Lines and Austrian Airlines in Serbia and put it in operation on January 1st, 2010. The CEO of that new organization is Lukas Negeldy.
- With our new structure, we will be able to satisfy the needs of users of Lufthansa, Swiss and Austrian Airlines better than before. That will make it possible for us to increase our strength in the market - said CEO Lukas Negedly.
Three air transportation companies have total of 73 weekly flights from Serbia (according to the current flying timetable), 35 of which are Lufthansa's flights from Belgrade to Frankfurt and Munich, 7 are Swiss Air Line's flights to Zurich, while 31 are Austrian Airlines' flights to Vienna with company Jat Airways as its partner.
The passengers will be able to use well-coordinated links of Lufthansa, Swiss and Austrian Airlines within the global network of flights from Frankfurt, Munich, Zurich and Vienna. Together with BMI and company Brussels Airlines, Lufthansa Group now offers flights to 254 destinations in 101 countries. The passenger can enjoy the benefits of Miles&More program on the flights of all three airliners.
Depending on the flying class and status within the Miles&More program, the passengers will be able to visit elite showrooms of companies Lufthansa, Swiss and Austrian Airlines. Three airliners will keep developing and gradually introducing new advantages for the future users during the year.
