At Anuga Fair in Koeln, traditional Serbian food most attractive
Presentation of 10 food and confectionery companies from Serbia at ANUGA Fair in Koeln was very successful. About 850 contacts have been realized, about 30% of which are “serious”. Companies "Pionir", "Marni", "Agranela" and "Higlo" have signed total of seven contracts.
Company "Marni", which deals with processing of forest mushrooms and is export-oriented, realized about 120 contacts at the fair in Koeln and signed contract with the Ministry of Agriculture on financial support to introduction of HACCP system.
Valjevo-based "Agranela" has signed two contracts and it expects short-term turnover of €400,000 and mid-term turnover of €800,000.
The buyers from Germany, USA, India, Belgium and Hong Kong expressed their interest in products of company "Foodland", which deals with production of traditional and healthy food.
Belgrade-based company "Atle", which deals with export of fruit, estimates that it will realize short-term turnover of €800,000 and long-term turnover of €1.6m.
The companies from our country will prepare joint presentation for few other fairs in 2006.
