Ministry: Enable employees to keep working from home

The Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Policy appeals to employers to enable employees who worked from home during the state of emergency to keep doing so, until the public transport system is reinstated at full capacity and kindergartens and after school care facilities open.

With the lifting of the state of emergency, the decree on organization of work during the state of emergency and the decision by which the government approves decisions on paid leaves of more than 45 work days in summary procedure are no longer in effect. The decision on the validity of working permits issued to foreigners for the duration of the state of emergency is also no longer in effect.

An exemption is the decision by which employers in the territory of the Republic of Serbia are recommended to enable the employees which are obliged to carry out their jobs in the conditions of the state of emergency to use a part of the annual leave for 2019 by December 31, 2020.
