The new cycle of broker game "Share Game" started on "eKapija" portal (www.ekapija.com). In addition to the already proved traders in securities, new contestants from the domains of media, culture, science, real estates and insurance will take part in this year's virtual portfolio management on the Belgrade Stock Exchange.
All participants started the game on the first working day of the Belgrade Stock Exchange (January 11, 2010) with the starting capital of 1,000,000 RSD, which they had to spend on procurement of 10 securities with approximately same allocation. Virtual game "Share Game" is the simulation of real situation on the stock exchange and it reflects the business reality from the Belgrade Stock Exchange.
This year's contestants are Jugoslav Ćosić (TV B92's journalist), Vladimir Medan (CEO of Basler Insurance), Srđan Janićijević (CEO of Komon Sens), Ivan Tasovac (the Director of Belgrade's Philharmonic Orchestra), Bogdan Kuzmanović (Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad), Jovica Jakovac (CEO of Colliers International), Milun Trivunac (Ilirika investments), Vladan Pavlović, (KBC Securities) and Milivoje Knežević (M&V Investments).
"Share Game 2010" has humanitarian character because the winner will be able to choose the charity institution/organization to donate the prize to.
Investment portal (www.ekapija.com) started "Share Game" with the aim of educating broad public on broker business. The contestants have the chance to see what would be the results of their investments in reality since the game is played with virtual money.
Broker game "Share Game" lasts one year, and the winner is the person who makes the biggest profit. The last year's winner is Dubravka Gojkov from Jubmes Banka.
