Serbian staff in Russia - "Gazpromneft" plans to hire experts and equipment of "NIS - Naftagas" for works abroad
"Gazpromneft", the majority owner of "Petroleum Industry of Serbia", plans to hire resources of "NIS-Naftagas" for the works in foreign market, most probably in Russian Federation. The resources include drilling equipment and experts, engineers and drillers who will be working on oil fields or as supervisors on the units of "Gazpromneft" on the territory of Russia if everything goes as planned.
For that purpose, "Naftagas" has been visited by the experts of "Gazpromneft". In addition to the team from "Gazpromneft Noyabrskneftegaz", which were considering the possibility of joint appearance in the works abroad, the company has recently been visited by Russian experts who checked the equipment and the units of "Naftagas". The experts of "Gazpromneft" are working in the largest Russian oil-gas sectors in western and eastern Siberia. Among the rest, the check was performed on the certificates, technical documentation and equipment of drilling unit N-3, which was bought from renowned US manufacturer "National Oilwel Varco" last year. It is the latest mobile unit of "Naftagas", with three generators, 1,600 horse powers on the crane and the capacity for drilling at the depth of up to 4,500 meters. Russian experts were also able to get the picture of drilling unit N-2 by checking the tower, equipment and spare parts. That unit of "Naftagas" has, so far, been used in Egypt, based on the contract with Croatian company CROSCO.
The talks between Russian and Serbian experts were resumed in Russia. About twenty experts of "NIS Naftagas" were staying in "Gazpromneft" where they were introduced to the organization and operations of the Russian company. Certain number of experts of "Naftagas" were also staying in "Noyabrsk", the headquarters of petroleum-service company "Gazpromneft".
People in "Petroleum Industry of Serbia" claim that the exchange of experiences with Russian experts will bring many advantages in the future work of "Naftagas" since it is the staff from one of the biggest oil-gas companies of Russia. Among the rest, the oil reserves on the fields exploited by "Gazpromneft" exceed 950m tons (6.9 billion barrels). That company plans to increase the volume of oil exploitation to 90-100m tons prior to 2020.
