The European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA) is committed to fighting the coronavirus pandemic. As its goals, the federation cites ensuring the supply of medicines to the patients that need them, researching the means of fighting Covid-19 and supporting governments and health systems on the ground.

– We are committed to working collaboratively across the research and healthcare communities, utilizing our world-leading science, people and resources to tackle this outbreak – the EFPIA says, as announced by the Association of Manufacturers of Innovative Drugs.

As one of their goals in countering the coronavirus crisis, they cite the search for vaccines, diagnostics and treatments.
