The Sabac-based company Corten Art, about whose innovation we recently wrote, has produced the first prototype of the disinfection tunnel. Let us remind that the company was recently supported in this project by the Innovation Fund.
The disinfection tunnel is made of stainless steel and equipped with atomizers which spray the disinfectant in the form of micro droplets. The consumption of water and disinfectants is 15 times lower compared to traditional disinfection procedures.
– In order to reduce the consumption, we equipped the tunnel with an automatic movement system, which detects the person, activates the atomizers and automatically shuts down the tunnel after the disinfection process is done – the company says.
Disinfection tunnels are applicable in hospitals, companies with a large number of employees, stores, supermarkets, shopping center, schools, faculties and similar facilities.
As they say at Corten Art, the advantages compared to other systems are the low price of maintenance of components and their availability. They are durable and feature an elegant design.
– The entire system operates at a pressure of up to 6 bars, unlike other available systems, which work at 70 bars, which makes it easy to find spare components. The product is certified and approved for use (3A and CE tags). It also complies with all the EU directives – they say.
The disinfection tunnel is designed as a plug-and-play system and requires no training to operate.
