Construction of water production factory in Kruševac in cooperation with French "Veolia Water Systems" - 25 million EUR

When big project with the world biggest water treatment system, French company "Veolia Water Systems" is completed, Kruševac will be the city with the most organized water supply system. In that way, the conditions will be created that water supply system "Ćelije" supply water to surrounding municipalities.
 
The project entered by Municipality of Kruševac, of which value is 25 million EUR, is part of big credit arrangement of Serbian and French governments on water supply programs. Part of the means will be provided through donations, whereas remainder will be financed by French long-term credits with grace period of 5 - 10 years and annual interest rate of up to 3%.

Construction of new factory will provide additional 300 liters of water per second and capacity enough for 560,000 consumers.

Minister Lončar announced that the negotiations were underway on financial support of another big infrastructural project in Kruševac. The project is related to reconstruction of City Heating Plant, which was seriously damaged during the NATO bombing. www.veoliawatersystems.com
