Wizz Air has announced that, due to the imposed travel restrictions, it has suspended all its flights from Serbia – from the Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport and the Nis Constantine the Great Airport – until April 12.

The travel restrictions are a measure against the spreading of the coronavirus pandemic, the press release says.

Passengers with reservations will be automatically notified by email in this period if their reservation was made directly at wizzair.com or through the airline's mobile app.

– 120% of the original ticket price will be automatically transferred to the passenger's WIZZ account and that amount can be used for the next 24 months for the purchase of Wizz Air products and services – the press release says.

They emphasize that the passengers can also opt for a cash refund, entailing a longer procedure, and they will be notified of the necessary steps for a bank transfer or a transfer to a bank card in a separate email.

In this case, the passengers have the right to a refund of only 100% of the original ticket price.

The passengers who reserved their tickets through travel agencies, including online ones, should address the company they bought the ticket from.
