The Public Works Administration of Montenegro and the Cetinje-based company BomBeton have signed an agreement on the overhaul of the interior of the Archbishop's Palace in the Old Town of Bar, for which the Government of Montenegro will set aside EUR 91,500 from the budget.

The contractor has obliged to complete the works within 90 days of the possession of the site, in line with the published technical documentation, the Public Works Administration announced.

This is the final phase of the development of the Archbishop's Palace, raised in the 14th century, for the purposes of the future Archaeology Museum of Bar.

The project envisages detailed reconstruction of the palace's interior, which will entail the replacement of all the wooden elements, including a new staircase made of oakwood, as well as stone plates matching the architecture of the palace, and works on thermal-technical installations.
