New solutions in field of welding - cooperation between "ICM Electronics" and Croatian company "Trea Trade"

Serbian manufacturer of robot systems "ICM Electronics" and Croatian welding company "Trea Trade" from Rijeka organized one-day meeting on Tuesday (December 15, 2009) for the companies that use welding processes in their units.

The theme of the meeting, which was held in the premises of factory "ICM Electronics" in Platičevo, was "Modern Solutions in Field of Automatic and Robot Welding".

The two companies presented interesting innovations from this year's welding fair, which was held in Essen in September. Serbian manufacturer of robot systems presented intelligent robot cell for welding with integrated laser vision. The vision enables automatic correction of robot hand and welding machine in the welding process, in accordance with emerging changes. This robot cell solves the problems of inaccurate positioning of the subject of welding, poor preparation of the subject, as well as the problems of deformation that may occur during the welding process.

Company "Trea Trade" presented the automatic welding systems with automated visual and remote control. This welding system enables automatic work, while the operator can supervise and control the work of the system from the office, through a computer or a TV set. This system proved efficient in shipyards where welds are very long (up to 30 meters) and where it is very difficult for a man to do the quality work continuously. Economic efficiency and welding speed are the main reasons why these systems are much used in the countries of western Europe.
