New unit in factory "Tigar Technical Tire" - recycled rubber production unit in early 2010

- In new factory "Tigar Technical Tire" in Pirot, which was put in operation in October, the unit for production of recycled rubber is going to be put in operation by the end of the first quarter in 2010 - that corporation announced today (December 16, 2009).

The investment in factory "Tigar Technical Tire", in which 200 workers make rubber-technical products for various industrial branches, amounted to about 8m EUR.

The production capacity of the factory is 4,000 tons of basic products and 10,000 tons of products of recycled rubber per year.

- New factory "Tigar Technical Tire", which was put in operation within the scope of modernization of company "Tigar", will offer high-quality and highly competitive products to the market - said Goran Jovanović the CEO of the factory.

The products made in new factory are primarily intended for the needs of automotive industry, road and railway infrastructure projects on Corridor 10 and military industry.

The President of "Tigar" corporation, Dragan Nikolić, pointed out that the takeover of Danish company "Bilgutex" and completion of the unit for production of recycled rubber products made appearance in foreign market easier for factory "Tigar Technical Tire".

The new unit in the factory will be producing floors for sports halls and fields, as well as school yards and playgrounds for kids, of rubber granules, which are the result of recycling of all types of tires.

It is added in the announcement that, on the occasion of the opening of new factory and celebration of the Day of "Tigar", the company will donate a playground to kindergarten "Čika Jova Zmaj" in Pirot and place a playground of rubber granules next to Primary School "Dragan Kovačević" in Voždovac.
